Our offices
In 2000, Baronage House was acquired in the commercial centre of the diplomatic community of Belgravia / Avondale which is in close proximity to town centre of Harare where most government and corporate offices are located, such as Zimbabwe Intellectual Property Office (ZIPO). The offices are also walking distance to the headquarters for African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO).
Legal Associates, Professional Assistants and Support Staff
The Firm has several lawyers as well as professional assistants and support staff with qualifications in law and other disciplines. This enables the Firm to not only provide legal representation and research but also valuable information and support services in quasi legal or non-legal matters to our clients who are often foreign nationals and need assistance in Zimbabwe and/or other countries in Africa. Through qualified non-legal staff, we are able to provide services that are outside the scope of traditional legal practice, such as, investigations, feasibility studies and research in a timely, competent manner. This is consistent with our belief in a multidisciplinary approach to problem solving and our desire to provide a full range of services to our clients to enable them to succeed in their business, professional or charitable interests.
Our support staff is well trained, disciplined and dedicated to quality service. We have an understanding not only of the legal system and socio-economic nuances of doing business in Africa but also the cross-cultural barriers to success. We enjoy an excellent reputation and a cooperative relationship with all branches of government as well as the private sector and non-profit entities.
Although English is the official language for all legal transactions in Zimbabwe, we do have a working knowledge of French, Shona and Ndebele.
